Joe Armstrong

Guitar, Vocals, Bass, Banjo, Mandolin

Joe has been backing twin brother and lead vocalist, Jim Armstrong, since birth and together, they enjoy that country sound that only real family can produce. Expanding later in life to lead vocals, Joe also enjoys playing bass, mandolin, and banjo in studio, and especially during the band’s annual, “Summer Tour” of local Boston area outdoor festival and town concert venues. During the day, Joe enjoys his career as a real estate development consultant.

James Armstrong

Guitar, Vocals

Jim, the twin of fellow band member, Joe Armstrong, is our regular lead singer and acoustic rhythm guitarist. Of all the brothers, Jim is the only one of us who truly made music his career. He has taught both in private school, and privately; assisting hundreds of children in the area over many years to enjoy playing Ukulele and guitar and to share their music with neighbors and friends as guest musicians with the Armstrong Brothers Band.

David Croce

Electric Guitar, Vocals

David grew up in a musical family, with a father who performed with top country bands before starting his own family and sharing his love of country guitar playing with David as he grew up. A top area electric guitarist, David has similarly performed with top area bands before joining the Armstrong Brothers band way back in 2006. In his younger years, David played electric guitar for Peter Wolf of the J.Geils Band in his solo tour, and for two years as a staff song-writer for Warner Brothers in London, England (85-86). In 2021 David issued his own solo CD entitled, Circle of Friends, an acoustic collection of his own songs highlighting his super vocals and acoustic guitar work.

Ronny Caggiano

Drummer, Vocals

Ronny has been drumming for top bands in the Boston area for decades and became the band’s regular drummer in 2019 after serving now and then as back-up drummer for us when our regular drummer could not join us. Ronny also provides superb harmony vocals that blend right in while serving as the band’s heartbeat on drums. During the day, Ron enjoys a career as a consultant/Project Executive on major public and private real estate development projects.
